About Pumpkin Patch Fundraisers

In 2020 We were given the honor to carry on a Simpsonville Community Tradition due to the pandemic. Holy Cross Episcopal had run the Pumpkin Patch for 14 years, and due to the pandemic and growth, and challenges of the Pandemic they were unable to host the patch.

Friends of the Little White house was invited to run the patch for the 2020 season! Which we were delighted to do!

We contacted the Baldwin Family owners Anita’s Mexican Restaurant, and asked them to host the event, which they were happy to do! We will be forever grateful to Anita and her family for hosting!

We also opened another Patch in Mauldin with the help of Rainbow Paints and Mauldin United Methodist Church. Expanded the mission of The Patch.

To carry on the tradition of the Pumpkin Patch, we collaborated with other local non-profits to ease the fundraising challenges of 2020. The patch supported Friends of the Little White House, Upstate Young Marines, Upstate Wounded Warrior, Lets Saddle Up, Holy Cross Episcopal, and The Lake Conestee Foundation.

We would like to also like to honor Blue Ribbon Tire, Marty owner of The Station, students from Greenville Middle College, Brashier Charter, Mauldin High, Hillcrest High, Southside Christian, and the many Boy Scout troops and families that helped.

Thank you to Kasey Coffey and The Coffey House Group, Teri Kilgore from Oak Insurance and our dedicated fundraising coordinator Jordan Mahaffey for promoting and coordinating special events and news coverage!

Upcoming events we need Volunteers for spring cleaning, painting and gardening at the LWH. March 27th at 8:30 a.m. Call Lu for more information 864-399-2708.
